The Wellbeing Financial app is free to use. When you choose to switch to a financial product we recommend, we may receive a referral fee from the mortgage broker, credit card provider, or lender. This never affects our recommendations—our only loyalty is to you, and we evaluate every product purely on its merit for your situation.
Yes. We use bank-level 256-bit SSL encryption and have read-only access to your accounts. We cannot move money, make purchases, or access your login credentials. Your data is stored in secure Canadian servers with multiple layers of protection. We're working toward SOC 2 Type II compliance and never sell your personal information.
We access account balances, transaction history, current rates, and terms for your existing financial products (mortgages, credit cards, loans). This allows our AI to understand your current situation and identify better opportunities. We only view this information—we cannot make changes, transfers, or payments.
Absolutely. You can disconnect any or all of your accounts at any time through the app settings. If you disconnect accounts, we'll no longer receive updates about those financial products, but you can reconnect them later if desired.
Opportunity scores (1-100) help you quickly identify which financial products could benefit you most. Scores 90-100 indicate excellent opportunities with significant savings potential. 70-89 are good opportunities worth investigating. 50-69 show moderate benefits. Below 50 indicates limited benefit compared to your current situation. Our AI calculates these scores based on your current rates, credit profile, and market conditions.
